Virtual computers

Share one computer - many users

Virtual computers are a software and hardware, or software only, kits that allows two or more user to share a single computer.

Why use virtual computers?

Today's PCs are so powerful that the vast majority of people use only a small fraction of their available computing power.

A Virtual computer kit taps the unused capacity so that several users can simultaneously share a single PC.

Software applications run simultaneously and independently on each virtual desktop. Users don't even know they are sharing a PC! And most applications run right out of the box, so your staff and users don't need special training.

They will also love getting their desk space back - the access devices are tiny, silent, and have no moving parts. Yet they give each user a rich Windows or Linux workspace. Users enjoy multimedia with sound and full-motion video.

The advantages are:

  • lower power consumption
  • lower hardware and software costs
  • lower maintenance costs

Virtual desktops and 3D software / games

Virtual desktops are desktops that run in parallel to the original desktop. Virtual desktops are slower than the original computer's desktop (depending on the application being used), and although the virtual computer is powerful enough for multimedia, virtual computers are not recommended for 3D games or 3D applications.
