Dial-up analogue / phone line modem

Dial up modems allows a user to connect a computer to the internet through a standard telephone line. Modems also allows two computers to connect to each other through the telephone line.

Connecting to the Internet using a dial-up modems have been replaced by ADSL and Fibre connections.
